Havaş General Manager Kürşad Koçak stated, ‘’We have received our certifications once we fully and completely implemented all measures specified in ‘Airport Measures for Pandemic and Certification Circular’ published by Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation, SHGM. We also implement all required measures determined by the local authorities at our Latvia station and we completed preparations in our Saudi Arabia station. Health and safety of our employees and passengers is always our priority. In the past period, we played a significant role by providing services to repatriation flights, passenger flights, scheduled cargo flights and flights carrying aid materials together with limited number of employees. We are fully and completely ready for operation at our 31 stations in Turkey. For the first stage, we began welcoming scheduled flights at twenty airports. We expect all our remaining stations to begin providing services at full capacity in the following days.”

Besides social distancing, regular disinfection implementations and air conditioning systems at work stations, Havaş daily provides protective equipment including masks, hand sanitizers, face shields, bodysuits, goggles, etc. to all of its employees.

During the operation, computers and equipment in common use, as well as all equipment and tools including telephones, microphones, radios, etc. are disinfected after each user.
