Millions of Turkish Airlines Guests Above the Clouds

Turkish Airlines carried 6.9 million passengers in June. Announcing the passenger and cargo traffic results in June, Turkish Airlines carried a total of 6.9 million passengers in this month, increasing its supplied capacity by 17.2 percent compared to 2019, and reached an occupancy rate of 83.6 percent.

Expressing his views on the company's June figures, Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat; “As the Turkish Airlines family, we knew that a summer period with high passenger demand awaited us and we were ready for it. While we are performing better day by day, we are achieving even better results than the optimistic forecasts of international authorities for the post-pandemic period. This success is possible thanks to the privileged travel experience we offer with Turkish hospitality and the efforts of our colleagues who reflect their excitement and energy to the sky. I would like to thank both our Turkish Airlines family and our 6.9 million guests who met us above the clouds.”
